Disney Poster

This is my Disney World poster. I used many things form Disney World and things from Disney itself to represent what Disney is. One I used the Disney Castle which is the heart of Disney World that I pentooled. Not just the castle though Mickey Mouse and his friends all play a part in showing how fun Disney really is. I also created a boarder with different pictures of the parks in Disney World with their names in different texts to represent how each park is portrayed. I also used a quote by Disney "where dreams come true" to represent that Disney world is like a place of dreams that kids and theirs families and go to enjoy themselves. The only reason Walt Disney and World are different text is because when you look at Disney world stuff the text are different so I want to keep it to the original text that you would see.

  1. The border is a little distracting because there is so much going on and you have to turn your head to see what everything on there is. Although the castle is a main attraction at Disney World, I don’t know if it has to be as dominant in the poster as it is. I love Disney World and I like how you got all the parks and some characters involved. All the information is there, it just needs to be shown in a different way.

  2. I thought that was really creative how you put the different parts of Disney world around the border but it is kind of annoying to turn your head and find the text inside the picture. The sky in the top part where it says "epcot" clashes with the sky in the center picture. It needs some work but you definitely had a great idea going on.

  3. This looks really good, but I would make World the same font as the rest, it would tie it together better. I would also put Donald closer to the castle because he looks like he's floating out there. I would also like to see how the "Epcot" would look inside the ball. I do like the cohesion in between all of it, truly original!

  4. I like the design of your poster. Incorporating the different parks in Disney world was a good idea. The wavy lines in the border make it a bit distracting toward the different parks. Also Donald is hard to see, make him a little less faded. Nice job.

  5. man does this bring back memories. i loved disney when i was little, yet i regretted never having the chance to go to disney world. oh well, i like your poster design. some of the text doesn't seem to match up, like "World" is a little too big. i also think that the borders are a little too busy.

  6. I like how you made different pictures your frame. I would change the text for "world" it doesn't really match the rest.

  7. I think there's too much going on in your poster. I do like the borders showing the different parts of Disney. And world should match the other text.

  8. I like the boarders showing the different places in Disney. I also really love how Pluto looks like he's either climbing or sitting on the castle. The main issues are that I didn't even realize at first that the frame had text in it because they meshed too much and I would put Donald and Goofy in places where they look like they belong, sort of like with Pluto.

  9. The changes and additions you made to this poster really helped. The outside borders of the poster are completely activated and help the viewer navigate and move throughout the poster. They also visually show us some aspects of those actual areas. Because of the busyness of these borders, the quiet, still blue sky behind the castle is not problematic. It provides a resting place from all the movement of the border images. I was wondering whether you really need those ribbony strands running across the borders. I think they do help direct the eye around, but in some cases there are two of them- the left and right sides-and I would just leave it at one. Other things to improve- the location of Goofy. While Donald is centered well within the space, Goofy is too close to the castle. I like the way Pluto comes out from behind the castle-I wish that you could do that with the others too. I still think there should be another character or two in there with the castle image. The text at the top of the image seems a little off balance. Try making “Walt Disney” more bold- it is getting a little bit lost right now.

  10. The varying borders showing different areas of Disney World was a great idea, but I believe it distracts too much from the main picture. Also, I believe the placing of the characters are a bit random and uneeded

  11. The borders are a strong part of the design. I think it works for the most part. The fact that the epcot image isn't centered distracts me a little though. I don't think the characters floating in the center image are helping the design at all, in that I think it would work just as well with out them.

  12. I love the borders displaying the different parks. They are a little thin though. The castle in the center looks like it has room to spare so if the the borders were brought in a little bit, I think it would look nicer. Donald Duck's transparency could be brought up a bit. He looks like a ghost of a deceased Disney character.

  13. Very nice. I think the wave lines at the four sides make good frame. That is good match with disney characters because they are in soft lines. You touched background from darker to lighter. Good effort. it is not easy to put characters in the floatintng area. There should be different and better aproach to put them nicely, but I like to say making donald duck transparency is nice try.

  14. This seems like something Disney would do. I like it. I really enjoy how the borders were done.

  15. I like the style and tribute to Disney World. But the thing that kinda sticks out to me is that the animated characters that are floating around the castle don't look right. I wish to see them like how Pluto is behind the castle. I do like the Wave effect and each side shows the different parks in Disney World. It's well done.
